Grapes of Wrath 2023

Grapes of Wrath is a 2-day Buhurt (full contact armored combat) fighting event featuring a handful of armored combat teams from across the Eastern United States. This is a 5v5 tournament (five heavily armed and armored fighters on each side of our solid wooden fighting area, doing battle until only one team is left standing!) Building off last year’s success, this is one of the largest Buhurt events on the East Coast and you don’t want to miss this incredible event! New this year will be the addition of a femme division in addition to the open division.

The Ravenwood Faire team will be bringing a host of Medieval and Renaissance Faire vendors to the event as well as bringing their own unique flair to keep you entertained in between tournament rounds.

Tickets for spectators are $10/day or $15/weekend and will be sold at the gate. Kids 12 and under are free. Bring lawn chairs/picnic blankets and arrive early for the best seats.

Beer, wine, cider and mead will be available for purchase (no outside alcohol is allowed) both at the winery and at the tournament site.

The winery will stay open late Saturday night, and onsite camping is available for this event (message the winery for details).
