YPCC Chamber Choir is an elite, auditioned ensemble led by guest conductor Krista Cornish Scott.
Inspired by the medieval scribes whose fantastical visions and depictions still engage and inspire after hundreds of years.
This concert draws its programming from the vivid and sometimes outright strange artwork drawn by mostly anonymous artists of the middle ages.
From the secular to the sublime, works will include settings of lush poetry by Hildegard von Bingen, rousing drinking songs with a wink and a nudge to earthly pleasures, and a medieval bestiary set with strange and comical creatures.
Join YPCC and special guests The Cincinnati Boychoir, led by Jason Alexander Holmes, and singers from the May Festival Chorus in a historic Westside setting for a show that can’t be missed!
