That Jorvik Viking Thing 2022 – Schools Week

A week (Mon-Fri) of *free* online Viking content for schools and home educators, including livestreams, prerecorded videos and downloadable activities.
Working around the theme of Viking Treasure, each day will have a different theme based upon things the Vikings valued: weapons, silver, ivory, silk and poetry.
The content has been created with pupils aged 7-11 in mind (Key Stage 2) but it will be entertaining and educational for older pupils, too.
If our dates don’t suit you (for example, a clash with your half term holiday), or you live in a timezone where the livestreaming is inconvenient, all of the livestreams will be available to watch on-demand immediately after the session. All content will remain available until Sunday 27 February 2022.
