“Where Sport Gets Medieval”
We are holding the inaugural Australia vs NZ medieval competition called the “Trans-Tasman Buhurt Cup” at Brewtown Upper Hutt on 27 August 2022. The event will feature all the clubs from NZ, as well as the NZ national men’s and women’s medieval teams competing against the Australian national men’s and women’s teams. The event is free entry, family friendly and available on internet via live stream. Hosted by Felag – Wellington Medieval Armoured Combat.

Entry is free so bring your kids, your grandma, your aunty, your bestie, and anyone else who you think might enjoy some family friendly medieval sports. If you can’t make it in person, no worries! The event will be livestreamed – though it’s just not the same hearing steel crashing down on steel, in person
