SA Medieval Fair 2024

The Royal Herald announces to all fair folk who dwell on lands near and far that the 2024 SA Medieval Fair will be held on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of May in the most beautiful town of Paracombe set in the Adelaide Hills.
There will be much to see and do for all ages and with a family friendly atmosphere it is an event that is not to be missed.
Jousting, Knights in battle, Horseback Archery as well as South Australian and Interstate Reinactment and Living History Groups will be featured as well as Merchants selling their unique and handcrafted wares, skilled Artisans, Blacksmiths and Armourers who will be demonstrating trades of a bygone era.
Musicians, Punch and Judy and a variety of talented Performers that will delight and provide entertainment, roving around the event site and folk can sit and relax in the Feasting Marquee and sample Cuisines from around the world available from the food vendors that make up the Flavours of the Fair Food Court.
The Pale Raven Tavern is licensed for those of you who enjoy Mulled Wine, fine Cider, Ales, locally Handcrafted Beers and will be featuring wines from the local Paracombe Winery.
Free face painting for the youngens and young at heart and those who are dressed to impress may wish to enter the Fair’s Costume Competition which will be held on both days.
ATM machines, Parent’s and Children’s Room with Kitchen Facilities, Disabled Parking permits are available and we are proud affiliates of the Companion Card program.
Tickets will be available to be purchased online or at the gate over the event weekend and Early Bird reduced price ticket details will be available soon along with this year’s prize that one lucky ticket holder will win which will be drawn and also announced live on Sunday afternoon in the Main Arena.
