Wilson Arts and Casita Brewing Company are partnering to bring Wilson and beyond the opportunity to be immersed in wonder and fantasy at Wilson’s very first and very own Renaissance Faire. If you ever wanted to be a maiden, princess, knight, wench, knight, wizard, viking, or pirate – then this is your chance! There will be merriment and fun for the whole family with vendors, food, musicians and dancers, games, contests, and fight demonstrations!

Check-in to receive your pass will be at the Wilson Arts Center, but activities will take place BOTH inside the Wilson Arts Center and outside at Casita Brewing Company’s beer garden, with select activities meeting at the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park – all are located within walking distance in Historic Downtown Wilson. Horse-drawn carriages will be on a constant loop between the two locations.
There will be beautiful handmade wares for sale such as journals, stained glass, beer steins, wine goblets, candles, and more! The event will be chock-full of engaging and interactive entertainment such as medieval dance parties, hobby horse races, costume contests, belly dancing, fairy hair and hair braiding, werewolf games, art-chery, Mermaid Calypso and Pirate Isharvo Dunlop and more. You can even get knighted into the Kingdom of Wilsonia by the King of Wilsonia himself, Fletcher Duke.
